ISLANDpeople, founded by Derrick Lewis, within the United States of America in 1985, as an entertainment, management, marketing, and apparel design company. Operating primarily in New York State, the company developed and marketed concerts, sporting and corporate events. In 1998 the company was registered in Trinidad and Tobago and has been operating as an event production, management and consulting company, producing and managing events throughout the Caribbean and the US. ISLANDpeople’s portfolio of event management services includes, seminars, conferences, theme parties, corporate events, expos, product launches, sporting and charity events.
Over the past ten (10) years of operation in Trinidad and Tobago, ISLANDpeoplehas been involved in the creation and hosting of its own branded, signature events, such as Amnesia, Girl Power, Insomnia, Represent andCaution, as well as event management and consultancy for various local and international organizations.
